The richest 1% have not grabbed much more of the U.S. wealth from 1963-2001, going from 32%-33%. But the next 9% boomed from 32% of the nation's wealth to 37%. This means the richest 10% of Americans went from owning 64% of the country's wealth to 1963 to 67% in 1983 to 70% in 2001. | |
